SPClib add-on package: bidirectional Siemens SPC interface

Description

With the package easily creates a gateway between:
– an SPC intrusion panel (or several)
– KNX, Modbus, Bacnet, XML, EnOcean, 1-Wire, TCP, … or any of the over 20 protocols supported by the Logic Machine!

The SPClib package is an add-on package for the Logic Machine family of products.

Features

The package extends your Logic Machine with the same functions as the SPCway.
The following communication objects are available:
– events: when particular things happen, the panel raises events. We support 135 types of events, which can be configured to many hundreds of different actual communication objects! Eg: an object to tell : User X has successfully opened door Y, Intrusion alarm in area Z, Engineer on site, …

– commands: we support 23 different types of commands (on doors, areas, zones, users, panel, output, audio) that can be send to the panel. These can be configured to many hundreds of different communication objects. Eg. Arm area 2, Arm all areas, Momentarily open door 3, Silence all bells, … Typical delay between KNX telegram and SPC command at panel is 100ms.

– status: we support 25 different types of status informations. Combined with the numbers of elements (doors, zones, …) this results in many hundreds of possible status communication objects. Typical delay between SPC & KNX status change is less than 100ms.

One can easily imagine 1000 different communication objects and group addresses. There is no real limitation.

Communication setup

The package does all the hard work for you and assures a reliable data connection between the SPC panel and the internal script repository. All that’s left to do is tell how to exchange the data with any protocol you need.
For KNX, Modbus, Bacnet, XML and EnOcean the SPClib, provides visual mappers in the GUI, so no coding is required at all.
