Our ComfoWay and SPCway products have received a major update of the hardware and the underlying base firmware.
The name of the product will reflect the upgrade:
– ComfoWay V2 becomes ComfoWay V3
– SPCway becomes SPCway V2
The new processor is 3 times as fast, which will be of benefit in larger installations where several users are using the visualisation and diverse protocols simultaneously.
The Wiring connectors have been ruggedised to screw connectors.
Increased reliability and better natuaral cooling.
And while at it, we took the opportunity to also update the entire firmware and middleware of both products.
The firmware additions are too diverse to list her, but they include:
– added BACnet support for the ComfoWay
– addition of secure KNX-IP communication between SPCway panels
– fast incremental communication addres duplification to speed up configuring large installations
– additional panel area status for the SPCway
– various small bugfixes and improvements
The same hardware will also suit the new intrusion panel gateway for Inim … the InimWay, which will soon be released. With the InimWay large projects can seamlesly integrate SPC and Inim panels in a large (multi) site environment. It also means an integrated visualisation across brands.
