Description

With this add-on library your Logic Machine or Re:actor will initiate scheduled event actions based on a Google, Exchange or Apple Calendar (ics format).

Simply provide the url to the Calendar you set up for this purpose and you’re rolling (private https url for Google and similar for Apple and Exchange, depending on Exchange server settings).

Support for http and https with basic authentication.

By default, at event start, it will send the value stored in the description to the group-address specified in the event name. At event end, it will send the value stored in the location to the group-address specified in the event name.

A start- and end-action offset time can be specified to trigger the actions at the specified offset.

The actions canbe fully customised in order to simplify or make more complex functionality.

No lua coding skills required to set up the gateway.

Limitation: supported recurrence patterns are dayly, weekly, monthly, yearly patterns and all possible derivates (no support for secondly, minutely and hourly patterns of RFC 2445)

Note: at present only the full ics file format of CalDav/WebDav is supported. The next release of the library is in preparation and will include full CalDav support, resulting in reduced bandwidth by using diffed and incremental calendar download.
